Ever since I was little, I’ve loved making inspiration boards. With the rise of Pinterest, I have been on creative overload with so much virtual inspiration that I don’t know what to do with it all. Unfortunately, I find that I rarely go back to the boards I’ve created even though I spend hours trying to find the perfect images to pin. So, I’ve decided to go back to the old-fashioned real-life inspiration boards of my youth and I want you to join me!

Make-a-Wish foundation made a miracle happen today. Here’s how: They turned San Francisco into Batman’s Gotham City for Miles, a 5-year old boy who was diagnosed with leukemia at 18-months-old (he is now thankfully in remission). When I first started dating my boyfriend, he insisted upon going on a road trip together. But road trips didn’t make much sense to me; “What’s the point of a road trip when you can get there faster on a plane?”, I asked. Finally, he convinced me to take a road trip with him to Big Sur, California. I didn’t see it then, but the road trip was exactly what I needed. Have you ever heard of a happiness jar? The concept behind it is that you write something that makes you happy on a piece of paper every day and put it into the jar. Whenever you need a pick-me-up, dig into your jar and read your happy thoughts! I initially wrote about happiness jars here.
