As Happsters, we’re always looking for new ways to spread happiness and bring a smile to someone’s face. Here are 13 ways to do just that:
1. Cook someone a nice meal.
2. Run a local fundraiser for someone struggling in your neighborhood.
3. Pick up the tab at dinner with a friend.
4. Give someone a note of appreciation! (If you don’t have one, get some free happy notes here)
5. Tell someone close to you how much they mean to you.
6. Add money to an expired meter.
7. Lend an ear to a friend who needs someone to talk to.
8. Remember someone’s name the first time you hear it.
9. Give a friend a hug.
10. Surprise someone!
11. Say I love you.
12. Leave flowers on someone’s front porch.
13. SMILE…It’s contagious!

4, 9 and 13 – my faves! Happy Monday! 🙂
I send regular “snail mail” to my friends and family. I love the power of a handwritten note! It’s a lost art. Thanks for the great ideas!!
Great idea!
A couple of things I try to do each time I see someone for the first time in a day is to smile at them and when I am shopping I try to always hold the door for someone either coming or going…I am surprised how many comments I get “wow, no one has done that for me in a long time.”
Give a smile first 🙂
Great suggestions!
I like to pay someone a genuine heartfelt compliment, even if I have no idea who they are. It always brings a smile to their face 🙂

Aw back at you!! 🙂
When we give someone a smile, we create endorphines and happiness that will create an entirely new creation of brain cells and chemicals. These are literaly called happy cells…their whole goal is to create more happy chemicals in your brain. Check out ron gutmans videos at motivatingforpositivechange.wordpress.com
Appreciate or compliment someone….I liked this and this is very true.
