Gratitude Sunday

Gratitude Sunday

It’s time again for Gratitude Sunday! A few weeks ago I introduced this tradition because I think gratitude is so important to our happiness.

There are so many benefits of practicing gratitude, but I wanted to specifically share this one with you today: In a series of experiments in the the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, listing off all the things you are thankful for were linked with a brighter outlook on life and a greater sense of positivity.

Here are 3 things I’m grateful for today:

1) Getting to taste my neighbor’s oh-so amazing cherry tomatoes that he grows in his garden. They were the BEST tomatoes I’ve ever eaten and truly inspired me to start up a vegetable garden again.

2) Spotting these happy cookies at my local bakery. Of course I had to get them 🙂

3) Getting to practice yoga outside. It’s amazing what a difference it makes for me to exercise outside vs. inside. I enjoy it so much more! Plus, I’m kind of obsessed with my new “Exhale Only Love” tank I got at Wanderlust.

I’m also super excited AND grateful that I get to announce a really fun new project, called Paper Nostalgia, that has to do with snail mail and connecting all of us Happsters on a deeper level. Look for that announcement this week!

  1. I am SO very grateful for vision. I actually mean physical vision, that I can see the sky, trees, the color of my clothing. But, as I started to write this, I am also grateful for spiritual vision~! God is good~!

  2. You paper project is right up my alley, I hope you will post in here (and I hope I don’t miss it!) I am grateful for this beautiful Sunday and the ability to sit here and read blogs like yours. Thank you Happster!

  3. Hey Kelli,
I’m thankful for the fun afternoon my wife and I spent driving the backroads and visiting a bunch of antique stores along the way (all but one was in Niles, CA). It has been a long time since we have taken the time for this type of adventure which we both enjoy. It was a fun afternoon with a picnic lunch and visit to an ice cream parlor. Quality time as a couple.
