Gratitude Sunday

Gratitude Sunday

Happy Gratitude Sunday! I hope you’re all having a great week so far. Have you been enjoying the little things lately? Are you focusing on the positive events in your life? When you feel grateful and happy, you aren’t able to feel negative emotions like anger or envy. Let go of any stress that you’ve ben holding onto this week right now and remind yourself of all of the great things are going on.

Here are 3 things I’m grateful for today:

1) Taking a walk along the lagoon near my house. I saw a beautiful sunset, flying fish, and a cool hut!

2) Giving a sweet waiter a happy note the other night. I loved writing on the table with crayons too! Definite bonus πŸ™‚

3) Going to the aquarium for the first time since I was in elementary school with my friend, Maggie. The jellyfish were awesome!

  1. I love that you wrote in crayons on the table for the waiter! I’m grateful for parents who care, friends who share and a home that keeps me warm and safe; for work that has meaning, for the pleasure of cleaning and connections with like minded folk everywhere! Have a great week:-)

  2. Love that you wrote with crayons at the restaurant! I am grateful for amazing physicians my kidney doctor told me that I inspired him and many of my other doctors from being so sick to well fighting Cancer. How amazing was that? Kind words to a healing heart. Grateful for Doctor’s who care!β™₯

    1. That is fabulous, Nakia, for doctors to be inspired by patients; good for you! πŸ™‚ Maybe my nephrologist will tell me that next time I see her – you’ve given me something to strive for!

  3. We’re in the middle of a huge natural disaster here in Colorado, and I am grateful that we are safe and dry at a time when so many others are not. I’m also grateful to live in a country where there are so many resources available to help people in times like this- very grateful for the emergency personnel.

  4. I’m grateful that my son did not do anything stupid on his 21st Birthday on Thursday (did I mention he is at Chico?). Last night we had dinner with him as a family along with my wife’s parents. We all had a really good time helping him celebrate this milestone..
