Happy Gratitude Sunday! I hope you’re all having a great week so far. Have you been enjoying the little things lately? Are you focusing on the positive events in your life? When you feel grateful and happy, you aren’t able to feel negative emotions like anger or envy. Let go of any stress that you’ve ben holding onto this week right now and remind yourself of all of the great things are going on.
Here are 3 things I’m grateful for today:
1) Taking a walk along the lagoon near my house. I saw a beautiful sunset, flying fish, and a cool hut!
2) Giving a sweet waiter a happy note the other night. I loved writing on the table with crayons too! Definite bonus π
3) Going to the aquarium for the first time since I was in elementary school with my friend, Maggie. The jellyfish were awesome!
What are you grateful for today? Let me know in the comments!
P.S. Donβt forget to send in those homemade postcards with your happiest memories! If you missed the Paper Nostalgia announcement, click here.
I love that you wrote in crayons on the table for the waiter! I’m grateful for parents who care, friends who share and a home that keeps me warm and safe; for work that has meaning, for the pleasure of cleaning and connections with like minded folk everywhere! Have a great week:-)
I have a head-cold today. But life is still awesome~! I am flanked by fluffy lovey doggies, and oh how I adore my heating pad, and huge mug of chai~!
Love that you wrote with crayons at the restaurant! I am grateful for amazing physicians my kidney doctor told me that I inspired him and many of my other doctors from being so sick to well fighting Cancer. How amazing was that? Kind words to a healing heart. Grateful for Doctor’s who care!β₯
That is fabulous, Nakia, for doctors to be inspired by patients; good for you! π Maybe my nephrologist will tell me that next time I see her – you’ve given me something to strive for!
Nice! I am so glad π

We’re in the middle of a huge natural disaster here in Colorado, and I am grateful that we are safe and dry at a time when so many others are not. I’m also grateful to live in a country where there are so many resources available to help people in times like this- very grateful for the emergency personnel.
Wow I’m so sorry to hear that! Be safe!
I have heard about all the flooding – glad you are safe! I have a cousin up in Denver…
Lovely post – thanks for sharing.
looks like such a wonderful weekend — how lucky are you to have lagoons and huts near your home? it sounds like a dream.
I was wondering the same thing!! I’m ready to go there! π
I’m grateful that my son did not do anything stupid on his 21st Birthday on Thursday (did I mention he is at Chico?). Last night we had dinner with him as a family along with my wife’s parents. We all had a really good time helping him celebrate this milestone..
I am grateful for the beautiful, fall-like weather we had this weekend. I’m also grateful that I have a wonderful husband and two of the sweet cats.
Meant to say two of the sweetest cats…
