Top 5 Happy Events in November

Happy almost Thanksgiving! With so much violence and negativity in the news, I thought it would be fun to point out all of the happy events that have gone on in the past few weeks. Here are my top 5 happy events in November:

1) Pharrell’s New Song “Happy”.

Pharrell just came out with the first 24 hour music video consisting of images and people dancing to the happy song for a full 24 hours! Check it out here: http://24hoursofhappy.com/

2. Strangers Making Friends with Each Other

When a ball pit was set up in the middle of the sidewalk with a sign that read “Take a Seat & Make a Friend”, strangers found themselves hanging out in it together and making beautiful connections. Check it out here.

3. Movember Coming to a Close

In case you don’t know, during the month of November there are “millions of moustaches on men’s faces around the world. Through the power of the Mo, vital funds and awareness are raised to combat prostate and testicular cancer and mental health challenges.” The US has already raised over $15,236,000 alone! 4. Fifth Graders who Stood up for a Bullied First Grader

Here’s the story: Danny Keefe, a first grader from Bridgewater, Mass. was getting picked on by other kids at his school for wearing a tie and jacket every day to school. Many fifth graders know him because he’s the waterboy for their football team and were upset that he was getting picked on so they decided to stand up for him by wearing jackets and ties to school! “We heard that Danny was getting picked on, so we thought that we would all have a day to dress up like Danny,” one classmate tells Boston’s WCVB-TV, before breaking into tears. “To show Danny that we love him, that we love him very much.” LOVE this story! 5. A Little Boy Cuddling with a Puppy

Jessica Shyba started posting photos of her son, Beau, napping with their new puppy, Theo on Instagram in November with hashtag #TheoandBeau and the photos have gone viral because they are so adorable. Check them out here.
