We’re so excited to welcome our newest Happsters Squad Leader, Erika to the community! She is the Leader for the first Happsters Squad in Atlanta.
Don’t know what Happsters Squads are? Here’s a brief overview:
Happsters Squads bring together women who live in the same city to practice the 4 G’s of happiness together: Gathering, Gratitude, Growth and Giving. You can learn all about it and join one near you here.
Here’s a Q&A with our Atlanta Happsters Squad Leader Erika, so you can get to know her:
1. What are 3 things that make you happy?
My friends, family and boyfriend, the beach and graphic designing!
2. What is your favorite book or podcast right now?
Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis. Rachel is the mentor every woman needs to stop believing the lies about who you are so you can become who you were meant to be.
3. What is your dream job or are you currently doing it?
My dream job would be to own my own event planning company and do graphic design as an added value to customers.
4. What’s your go-to show on Netflix right now?
I don’t watch a lot of TV, but I love Grace and Frankie on Netflix and am still one of the few dedicated fans of Grey’s Anatomy!
5. What are your favorite things to do in Atlanta?
My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is walk and explore the Beltline. There are so many good restaurants and shops to pop into. I love how Atlanta is supporting an active and creative community.
6. What is your favorite affirmation/quote?
“Not all those who wander are lost.” -J.R.R. Tolkien
7. Where do you find you are most at peace?
I feel most at peace at my parents home in Burlington, NC. There is such a comforting factor of being home, surrounded by all the things that made me who I am today and knowing that I am in a loving, supportive home. I hope to create that atmosphere for my family one day.
