Introducing: Orange County Happsters Squad Leader, Jenna Stahnke

the world is your oyster (8)

The first Orange County Happsters Squad has officially launched with Jenna Stahnke as its fearless leader!

If you’re new to the party and haven’t heard about Happsters Squads, here’s a little bit about them:

Happsters Squads bring together women who live in the same city to practice the 4 G’s of happiness together: Gathering, Gratitude, Growth and Giving. You can learn all about it and join one near you here.

Here’s a Q&A with our Orange County Leader, Jenna, so you can get to know her a bit:

1. What are 3 things that make you happy?
I’m a pretty simple and laid back person so the 3 things that make me the happiest are my fiancé, the beach, and puppies! We don’t have a dog yet but if there’s one in sight, I will be petting it!

2. What is your favorite book or podcast right now?
I just finished reading “You are a Badass” by Jen Sincero (I highly recommend that one) and I’m now reading “Resilient” by Rick Hanson. I love reading books that lift me up and pattern interrupt the everyday stuff going on! Also, Jordan Younger’s, aka The Balanced Blonde on Instagram, “Soul on Fire” podcast is AMAZING. She’s constantly trying new wellness tips + tricks, sharing other’s experiences, and is pro at keeping it real.

3. What is your dream job or are you currently doing it?
My dream job is something I’m already doing actually! I’ve always wanted my own time + freedom to be on my terms and be able to explore whatever passions I want; so right after college I jumped into the freelance marketing world and have been loving it! I currently work remote for an amazing startup in San Francisco. We are building a tool that integrates into Instagram and helps influencers build their business. It’s been such a creative passion of mine to work in the Instagram space and help others as well. This type of work allows me to travel with my fiancé, who is an entrepreneur, speaker, and author. We are always on-the-go and I love it!
I’m really big into fitness and nutrition so I think eventually I will move more into that space. It would be amazing to become a health coach one day and help others!

4. What’s your go-to show on Netflix right now?
I’m a really diverse Netflix watcher! I’m either binging on mystery / murder shows or Say Yes to the Dress. I’m a sucker for really bad tv too lol.

5. What are your favorite things to do in Orange County?
Since moving to OC about a year ago, I’ve been obsessed with trying out all the new fitness and wellness places! That is such a popping trend right now and I’m loving it. From finding new juice places and cryotherapy spots to sweating at a new studio, there is endless spots for me to try!

6. What is a secret special talent you have?
I secretly do calligraphy for fun / sometimes for business. I taught myself a few years ago and find it so fascinating. I created an Etsy shop just for fun and have even sold a few pieces on there! I plan to do all my wedding with DIY calligraphy pieces that I create.

7. What is your favorite affirmation/quote?
“Life is a gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by becoming more.” – Tony Robbins
I love this quote because it embodies everything that is important. The only way to impact more people and give back is by becoming more, becoming the best version of ourselves.

8. Where do you find you are most at peace?
I just moved into a new home with my fiancé and it is my favorite place to relax and find peace. We call it our sanctuary! We have held many family gatherings, game nights, and out-of-towners. It truly holds so many memories and I’m excited to make more in it with the OC Happsters Squad!

Check out some of the photos from the first OC event:

Introducing: San Francisco Happsters Squad Leader, Gieselle Allen

the world is your oyster (7)

Please help me welcome, Gieselle Allen, the new San Francisco Happsters Squad Leader!

Happsters Squads bring together women who live in the same city to practice the 4 G’s of happiness together: Gathering, Gratitude, Growth and Giving. You can learn all about it and join one near you here.

Gieselle is a life coach and all-around amazing woman! Here’s a glimpse into what makes her tick:

1. What are 3 things that make you happy?
Exploring the city in gorgeous weather, spending time with my family, and intentional, delicious naps.

2. What is your favorite book or podcast right now?
I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite, but I’m reading The Wisdom of the Enneagram to learn more about Enneagram for my personal development, and to decide if I want to integrate it into my coaching practice.

3. What is your dream job or are you currently doing it?
I am currently doing my dream jobs! I am a coach and working on building up a career as a freelance writer. I think dream jobs are constantly evolving, however, so I know there’s more for me on the horizon.

4. What’s your go-to show on Netflix right now?
I just finished “Imposters”, I’m currently working through “Downton Abbey” (I know, I’m so 2000 and late), and I always love The Great British Bake-Off. I used to work in TV, though, so it’s taking all of my willpower to not list off about 20 other shows on Netflix people need to watch. (Okay, just two more…watch Atypical and The Good Place!!!!!)

5. What are your favorite things to do in San Francisco?
I love walking to the Ferry Building on Saturday mornings for the farmers market. Being able to walk anywhere I want is also my favorite thing…I love walks outside (when it’s nice out!)

6. What is a secret special talent you have?
I can do really accurate tarot readings….I’m also really good at connecting to and “reading” people’s energy…as weird as that sounds, haha.

7. What is your favorite affirmation/quote?
A new inquiry I’m trying to explore every day is “What would make today the best day of my life?”

8. Where do you find you are most at peace?
In bed, in my husband’s arms (cue a chorus of fourth graders screaming “ew!!!!”)

Here’s the first of many group photos for the  San Francisco Happsters Squad!

Lots more good times to come for this Happsters Squad!

Introducing: LA Happsters Squad Leader, Sigourney McCleaf

the world is your oyster (4).png

I’m thrilled to announce our newest squad leader, Sigourney! She is the Los Angeles Happsters Squad leader and just hosted her very first event last week!

Here’s a Q&A with our Los Angeles Leader, Sigourney, so you can get to know her a bit:

1.What are 3 things that make you happy?

1. The ocean. Being in or near the water.

2. Learning new things. I love to learn from others and their experiences. I love to read and explore writers stories.

3. Crafting. I love diy projects, painting, beading -you name it!

2.What is your favorite book or podcast right now?

Currently I am reading The Clan of the Cave Bear. It is a historical novel about the interactions between Neanderthal and modern humans, based in prehistoric times. My sister introduced me to it, and I think I love it as much as she did!

3.What is your dream job or are you currently doing it?

My dream job would be to be a – yup- backup dancer for a performer. Go on tour, dance my butt off, entertain- and LOVE it! I can’t sit still while I am typing this because I am getting so excited. Ha!

image1

4. What’s your go-to show on Netflix right now?

My go to show currently is Grand Designs. It is a show all about homes being built in England by the owners, that are developed more uniquely than we are used to seeing. Some people are building homes out of a cinema, a barn, or even airplane hangars.

5.What are your favorite things to do in Santa Monica?

I love hopping on the bike path and taking trips down to Hermosa and Manhattan Beach. I also love taking advantage of all the trails and hikes that are so close to us.

6.What is a secret special talent you have?

Hmm.. I can roll my stomach? Haha. I can also make myself look like I am pregnant. Maybe someone would say this is a talent? If anything it is interesting.

7.What is your favorite affirmation/quote?

Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage. -Anais Nin

8.Where do you find you are most at peace?

At my parents home in Pennsylvania. It is where I grew up. A beautiful 7 acre property of trees, grass, and peacefulness. The feeling of comfort and safety, that I had when I was younger, still is felt when I visit. To sit on the front porch and just look out over the grass and into the trees, hearing only the birds, is a different kind of beautiful.

We ♥ Sigourney and are so excited to share a peek at her first Happsters Squad event. It was an absolute blast!

The reason I started my own Happsters Squad:

A large part of the reason I started the Happsters was because I graduated from college and really wanted to connect with other positive, happy people locally. One thing led to another and I ended up creating this blog and focusing more on the online side of things for a few years. 5 years went by and I realized something was missing! I hadn’t connected with local happy people the way I had set out to when I first began. That is why I’m so excited to finally get to launch my own group in San Diego and eventually groups all across the country. I hope you’ll join me and the Happsters community in connecting in a deep, meaningful way with these groups.

Katie Saffert on Finding Her Dream Job, Juggling it All & Never Giving Up

unnamed-1

I absolutely loved getting to chat with Katie Saffert, the creator of Hatched Collective about anything and everything. We met up in real life and I found myself forgetting to take notes because I was so fascinated by her story! She is an inspiring entrepreneur and I’m excited to share her interview with you today! Enjoy ❤️

1) What is your background?

I worked out of college for Quicksilver for 6 years and moved my way up from intern to merchandiser to events. Finally I got my dream job doing visual design for their events. After awhile doing that, I realized that I was traveling all the time, didn’t make that much money and was just super depressed for a year. Everyone said “you have your dream job,” but I knew it wasn’t for me. I had a fear of leaving the corporate position, but knew there was something bigger out there. I walked in on my 28th birthday and quit. My boss at the time said “what do you think you’re ever going to do after this?” I said without thinking twice that I started my own event production company and didn’t let him make me feel “less than.” Soon after, I delivered my new business cards to all of the Quicksilver executives I previously worked with. That week I booked a wedding for one of the executives and then was hired on by the Quicksilver marketing department soon after to do big events like the Perl Jam concert and a Jack Johnson charity event. That’s how I sustained for 3 years, which eventually turned into me trying to find other vendors to figure out how to make these events really pretty. That turned into also starting a catering company and flower company for events.

Then I realized I needed to have a part time job to be comfortable financially because catering is so seasonal. I took a part time job with a yacht management company in Newport and first helped them throw their events on their boats and then followed a cute boy and left for 4 1/2 years to became a yacht chef.

If I never left my corporate job, I would have never pushed myself. There’s down time of course, but I’m much happier and feel more powerful in this position than I did when I was “comfortable.”

unnamed-2

2) How did Hatched Collective come to be?

When my boyfriend and I were traveling the world on the yacht, I got pregnant and found out it was twins. I knew then that traveling was not going to be in the books anymore. I moved from Newport Beach to San Diego to be with my boyfriend full time and felt like my power was completely taken away. I lost my complete identity and felt that I had to let go of all my business to be a better mom. I felt like I was sacrificing and after 2 years of home with the kids and running catering company in Newport, I knew I didn’t want to bring catering company to San Diego to start over. I wanted to start something new and wanted to be surrounded by other people.

I needed to find my identity again, so once the kids were old enough, I put the kids in school and started looking at buildings. I thought maybe I could have a bunch of other women who work there as a “co-working” space. I signed the lease when I found the right space and went from there.

In the 6 months we’ve been around, it’s taken so many turns. First it was going to be a place for other moms to co-work together and then once I started that I realized I didn’t want to run that type of business because I didn’t want to be there 5 days a week from 9:00 to 5:00. I could tell I said yes to something that wasn’t working. All of the anxiety went away the moment I made the decision to pivot away from the co-working studio. It opened up more space for me to come face to face with what women and moms are really missing.

Now, the studio is dedicated to female entrepreneurs. I teach workshops, speaker events and coaching to help propel female-owned businesses in San Diego. The women who have come inside the doors actually show up and support and are the ones who aren’t looking in the direction to be cool; they are looking to connect.

unnamed.jpg

3) What has been the best thing that’s happened because of Hatched Collective?

The women I’ve met and the support. I was not expecting it and I didn’t even know that kind of support was out there.

4) What does a typical Tuesday look like for you?

I’m up by 5:00am with kiddos and am with them until about 9:00am. I drop them off at school between 9 and 9:30 and head over to Hatched. By 9:30, I start a coaching client or a workshop. Tuesdays and Thursdays are dedicated to coaching. I’m at Hatched until about 4:00 when I pick my kids up at school. I don’t plan anything after that so I can dedicate my time to the family.

5) What is your favorite affirmation/quote?

You are enough. You have all of the tools that you need right now.

Another one of my favorites is:

Just start. Take one step. That’s all that matters. It doesn’t have to be big dramatic moves. If you were driving from California to NY. It’s a straight shot all the way across. If you made one degree different of a turn you wouldn’t end up in NY. All it takes is one small change to make a difference.

6) What book have you suggested the most to friends and why do you love it?

“Refuse to Choose.” It’s all for creatives and is about the mental state of having so many things you want to do. It was the first book that made me not feel crazy.

Two more of my favorites are “Loving What Is” by Byron Katie and “The Highly Sensitive Person.”

IMG_0144_PNG.png

9) Do you have any exciting workshops or events coming up?

I host mornings called “Coffee and Conversations” where women come into the studio, sit in a circle and talk about who they are and what their business is. Then they give their best piece of advice and finally, they all have to ask for help with something. It’s pretty much an entrepreneur support group. Most of the time people end up crying because they aren’t used to asking for help.

I’m also hosting a Holiday Party for ladies. December 8th. You can find the details here.

You can find Hatched Collective at https://www.hatchedcollective.co/ and on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/hatchedcollective/.

Harpreet Dayal on Creativity, Writing a Children’s Book & Self Love

5

Today, I’m excited to share with you an interview with the lovely Harpreet Dayal. I came across her poetry on Instagram a few months ago and love the way she mixes meaningful quotes with flowers in her photos. Enjoy ♥

  1. Tell us a little about yourself!

My name is Harpreet M Dayal and I was born and raised in London, England. I have lived in London for the majority of my life until I got married and moved to Canada. In my previous life, I worked in the world of finance. Shifting my life to a new country gave me the opportunity to explore my creative side. So while I waited for my immigration to be approved, I wrote, and wrote, and wrote.

  1. What does a typical day look like for you?

I wake up as early as I can but I will wholeheartedly admit that I’m not a morning person! I am trying to instill mindfulness exercises into my daily routine as they help me de-stress when life gets busy. Currently, I work for a non-profit organization called the Asian Heritage Foundation as the project coordinator for the “Missing Chapters” project. This job entails many different elements so I am not stuck at a desk all day. I reach out to a lot of the local community and I collect and write stories from pan Asian Canadians who have or are making a significant impact in southern Alberta. Most days I go where a story takes me. This means every day is different, which is great because it keeps things interesting but I also like to keep myself grounded and have a better routine. I spend time working out, meditating or practicing yoga in the evening. I love cooking and spending time with my husband and dog Coco after a busy day.

  1. How did you get involved in writing children’s books?

One day, an idea came to me for a story. It was about a shy little worm named Wilbert. There was a strong feeling inside of me to explore this story and start writing. It was right around the time when I knew that I would be moving to Canada and the story began to mirror my own journey of leaving what was familiar and starting life in a new country. However, since childhood, reading was of the utmost importance to me. To this day, authors like Roald Dahl still hold a very special place in my heart.

HMDayal___harpreet_m_dayal__•_Instagram_photos_and_videos

  1. I love how you pair your quotes with flowers on your Instagram. How did you come up with that concept?

I started my Instagram page over two years ago but before I started it I wanted to make sure I post something unique. After talking to some creative friends for inspiration the idea for pressed flowers came up. This was perfect because flowers symbolise growth and that is exactly what I was doing at the time. The big changes in my life were opening up a new world to me, I was out of my comfort zone and I was growing. I still am. At the time I didn’t see many Instagrammers using flowers and I thought it was unique unlike now, where it has become very popular.

  1. Do you ever get writer’s block and if so, how do you overcome it?

This is something that definitely I experience and so do many other writers. What helps me get through this is the use of “writing prompts”. I will jot down whatever comes to mind pertaining to an idea, or a picture or even a memory. Sometimes I will just step away from the writing desk and take a walk or listen to music. For me, the best ideas come to when I’m not writing.

  1. Where do you find you are the most at peace?

There is a profound sense of tranquility when I immerse myself in nature. Perhaps growing up in a busy city like London has something to do with it, but when I take in a breath of crisp mountain air, a sense of calm comes over me like no other. I’m really grateful to be living in Alberta, where we are so close to the mountains. The natural beauty in the part of the world is enthralling. In light of this, I try to spend as much time in nature as I can. Whether it’s hanging out in the park with my dog Coco or going for hikes in the mountains.

  1. Are there any mantras that are speaking to you right now that you say to yourself?

I feel that even though it has been two years now since my move to another country, I am still transitioning. Change isn’t easy and sometimes it is a longer process than you imagined. I am still finding my purpose or calling. I am still trying to settle into what the universe is presenting me with. I do believe that things tend to fall into place and I am just where I need to be as difficult it may be to accept sometimes.

I am going through some personal changes in my life. I don’t have particular mantras but I have instilled practices into my life to help me with this phase. I try to practice a lot of self-love and self- belief and confidence in myself that everything will turn out okay. With the help of my husband, I spend time meditating and visualizing where I want to be, I remember my successes and how far I have come and I write down three things I am grateful for before bed.

  1. How do you unwind and relax at the end of the day?

I realize this might be a bit of a cliché, but I’m also somewhat of a homebody who loves to curl up on the couch with a blanket and watch something on Netflix. I mean, who doesn’t?

I also love to cook, sing and dance; sometimes all at once!

  1. What’s next for you?

I don’t want to say too much but there are some exciting projects on hold that I would like to explore next year when things settle a little in my personal life.

  1. How can people find you online?

The best place to find me would be on my Instagram page: @harpreet.m.dayal and Facebook page: www.facebook.com/harpreetmdayal

Monica The Medium on Her Gift, Happiness & Her Morning Routine

View More: http://dastudios.pass.us/mar-monica

I’m thrilled to be able to share my interview with Monica Ten-Kate, aka Monica the Medium with you today! Monica is an amazing spirit medium, who starred on the reality show “Monica the Medium” on Freeform. I first came across Monica when some friends invited me to her in-person event, where she delivered messages from loved ones in spirit to people in the audience. I was in awe of her gift and am so impressed by her talent. Enjoy the interview!

1. How do you describe what you do?

I talk to dead people. That’s the plain and simple answer. Or in other words, I connect to those who have crossed over who are safe and at peace on the other side.

2. How did you learn that you had this gift?

I was intuitive and empathic growing up, but it wasn’t until high school that I really started to feel, hear and sense spirit around me. It started out with classmates, friends, and even teachers. At first I thought it was a coincidence, but once it started happening around strangers, I realized it couldn’t be a coincidence. The defining moment for me was when I was working at an old job and brought through the dad of a 60 year old senior level engineer who worked there too. His dad showed me his son (the man I was doing a reading for), at 18 years old, finding him deceased next to a motorcycle in a white shed in the backyard. I described the scene clearly to this man I was talking to and he turned completely white and said “how did you know that? I’ve never told anyone that. There’s no way you could have known that.” I was crying and he was crying and I brought through all the messages from his dad. It was really intense and I left there that day knowing that I would be doing this for the rest of my life.

3. Do you have an interesting story you can share from a reading you’ve done in the past?

There have been several times where the location of where I’ve given a reading has been quite interesting (and hilarious). One of the funniest is when I gave a reading in the bathroom at a bar while at Penn State.  I was in the bathroom stall and I started receiving messages for one of the girl’s waiting in line. I ended up giving her a reading through the stall!

4. Have you learned anything from spirit coming through about happiness?

When we lose a loved one, it’s obviously very difficult, but ultimately I’ve learned that Spirit wants us to continue living our life. They love seeing us still find the joy in each day. They truly are the happiest when they see us happy.

5. What podcast or book are you loving lately?

It’s ironic because I’m coming out with my own podcast, but I don’t really listen to any podcasts! One book I recently read that I loved is “The Productivity Project.” It’s about how to increase your productivity. It’s been a light switch for me and changed the way I prioritize tasks.

6. What is your favorite mantra and why?

I just yesterday found this “quote of the day” and I loved it so much that I wrote it down on a post-it note to keep by my desk: “The secret of change is to focus all of your energy not on the old, but on building the new.”

7. Do you have any morning rituals you consistently stick to?

Before I open my eyes in the morning, I take a deep breath and ask Spirit, God, and the angels what I need to know for my highest and best today and soak in the first feeling I get and take that as the message for the day. Also, most mornings I pick an angel card. I have a rule that I have to be happy with the one I get and not pick another one because there’s a reason why I picked it the first time. That card ends up being super accurate!

8. What does a typical day look like for you?

I wake up, feed my dogs, and then pack up my little backpack for the day. Most of the week I go to my gym and work out with my trainer. Then I shower and get Starbucks and go to my office. From there I work on whatever it is I need to do at work that day (plan events, coordinate all the venues, work on the podcast, write a chapter of my book, give readings to those who’ve won giveaways, etc.).

I try to get home by 6pm to spend time with my boyfriend Tyler, but many times I’ll be at the office until late.

9. Do you have anything exciting coming up?

As I mentioned, I just launched a podcast called Wine & Spirits Podcast with Monica the Medium. You can find it here.

INTRODUCING: Random DM’s of Kindness (#RDOK)

random dms of kindness

Do you want to spread a little bit of holiday cheer this year with a twist? Send out a Random DM of Kindness (#RDOK)!

What is a Random DM of Kindness?

Random DM’s of Kindness are similar to Random Acts of Kindness. Have you ever heard of people randomly buying coffee for the person behind them in line? Random DMs of Kindness are like that, but in the Instagram realm.  These are usually sent near the holidays and are a fun way to spread kindness. Those who send Random DMs of Kindness will choose someone who follows them on Instagram at random and send them a gift card to an online store (my example below is Amazon) OR send a positive customized message/note to them as an epic kind surprise.

Here’s how to send a Random DM of Kindness if you are sending a gift card:

  1. Scroll through your followers and choose one at random (It’s like wheel of fortune!)
  2. Go to amazon.com/giftcard and purchase an e-gift. Here’s the direct link.
  3. Enter an amount (people usually choose between $5-$10) and send the email to yourself.
  4. Once you receive the email from Amazon look at the claim code (found at the bottom of the email).
  5. Send an Instagram DM to the person you chose at random and say the following:

Happy Holidays! I’m sending you a Random DM of Kindness with a $[dollar amount] gift card to Amazon I bought for you. You can redeem it by logging into amazon.com and going to: https://www.amazon.com/gc/redeem. Then put in the claim code: “[claim code number]”. Elissa Goodman on Holistic Nutrition, Healing & Wellness Trends

Elissa_IMG_9070

I had the pleasure of meeting Elissa Goodman at a recent wellness event I attended and knew I had to interview her from the moment I met her. She is a holistic nutritionist and lifestyle cleanse expert and has an incredible story to share. Enjoy ♥

1. Were you interested in holistic nutrition before you became diagnosed with cancer?

My interest was piqued from visiting the Rancho La Puerta health ranch with my mom in my teen years (she was asthmatic and these yearly visits transformed her life). In the 70’s, my mom took sugar out of the house and she was a bit ahead of her time. Although, I hated it, these things certainly stuck with me. You don’t want to have to think about those things, but ultimately they come back to you when you need it and that’s really what it was for me. This foundation was laid in my youth and came back into my life when I was ready to receive it.

2. Once you received your diagnosis, what steps did you take to explore holistic alternatives that you thought might help you?

My diagnosis really changed the course of my life. Up until that point, I was living a fast-paced life, existing on takeout, sushi, and stress was the daily norm. It didn’t take a lot of time after I was diagnosed with cancer to get into juicing, plant-based diet, therapy, yoga, colonics, and acupuncture. These felt more natural and healing then chemo and radiation (I opted out of chemo and did a shorter version of radiation). I went full speed ahead with these practices and continue to do so to this day. I was lucky to have a fresh juice shop in my area which is still is there today. I started drinking straight carrot juice and in time, gradually expanded to adding greens and other nutrients to my juices. I loved how I felt after yoga and getting into therapy for the first time in my life was a hard process, but really changed my life.

3. What was your biggest takeaway after beating cancer?

You can heal anything. Cancer was a tap on my shoulder telling me that the way I was living wasn’t working. If you provide the right environment, the body CAN heal and wants to heal. I became a seeker of knowledge and still commit myself to getting to the root cause of any health issue so I help others to do so the same.

4. What do you eat in a typical day now?

I start my day with a Bulletproof Matcha or Coffee (depending on the day and the amount of caffeine I want!), next is a green juice (with no fruit) and flax seeds. Lunch is typically a raw salad with leafy greens lots of veggies, seeds and a vegan protein. I like to eat dinner with my family and have something warm and seasonal with either another vegan protein (tempeh is a big hit in my house), lots of green veggies, and a gluten free whole grain or 5 oz. piece of wild salmon. I stick to the rule of adding fats, greens, lean proteins, and complex carbs to make a complete dinner.

5. What is your favorite wellness trend right now?

Mindfulness. We’re all moving a million miles an hour. I’m continuously reminded how much I need to slow down and I think we all need to be a little more mindful. It shouldn’t be a trend, it should be a timeless habit, but I’m happy to see a focus on it!

6. What podcast or book are you loving lately?

I like Mind Body Green’s Podcast, That’s So Retrograde, and Lewis Howes’ “The School of Greatness”. I go through phases of reading, looking forward to The Medical Medium’s next book release on Thyroid Disease and just finished Dr. Aviva Romm’s book on Thyroid Health and it was fascinating!

7. What is your favorite mantra right now and why?

Everything happens for a reason.

8. Do you have any morning rituals you consistently stick to?

I wake up and drink 16 ounces of water religiously (I keep it by my bedside to make it really easy to do so). I like to read my friend, Ryan Weiss’s “Waking Up with Ryan” emails to set my intention for the day.

9. How can people work with you to cleanse their own bodies and lives?

I want information on to be accessible to everyone, if you can’t come in and see me in-person for a session or don’t live in Los Angeles and can’t participate in my cleanse program, I post endless healthy recipes on my website www.elissagoodman.com as well as all the latest wellness topics. I also use my Instagram as a platform to share all my favorite products, recipes, health tips, supplement recommendations. You can also find my show The Elissa Goodman Show on YouTube, this is where I interview “wellness warriors” about how they’ve healed (lots of great tips for everyone in these interviews!).
